The main causes of white latex adhesive line cracking are as follows:
1. Poor processing precision, resulting in thick glue lines after sawing.
2. Low pressing pressure, resulting in thick glue lines.
3. Oily substances on the substrate surface or in the white latex adhesive liquid, or impurities in the adhesive liquid.
4. The time from pressing the panel to painting is too short.
5. The amount of white latex adhesive applied is too low.
Solutions for white latex adhesive line cracking:
1. Before applying white latex adhesive, the substrate must have good processing precision to ensure a smooth glue surface. That is, the material should be opaque and capable of being fully pressed together.
2. After applying the adhesive, there should be sufficient pressure to ensure that the adhesive can evenly penetrate into the substrate to form adhesive nails, thereby generating sufficient bonding strength.
3. When other impurities or oily substances get into the adhesive, it cannot effectively penetrate into the substrate, making it prone to cracking later.
4. If the drying time is insufficient, the moisture inside the adhesive film cannot evaporate after painting, resulting in low adhesive film strength.
5. When the amount of white latex adhesive applied during production is too low, the film can easily dry during operation, lacking sufficient adhesive to penetrate the substrate, resulting in insufficient strength.
