White latex adhesive, commonly known as white glue, is a water-based adhesive polymerized from vinyl acetate emulsion. Due to its high bonding strength, fast curing speed, convenient use, and safety and harmlessness, it is widely used in wood processing, furniture manufacturing, building decoration, and other industries.

White latex adhesive uses water as the dispersion medium and is sensitive to low temperatures. When winter arrives, the weather becomes cold and colder. The drop in temperature is very unfavorable for the transportation, storage, and application of white latex adhesive. So how should white latex adhesive be transported, stored, and applied in winter?

1. Transportation
When the temperature drops below 0°C, transportation vehicles must take insulation measures.

Use specialized heated vehicles for transportation. Heated vehicles have heating functions, and the heating can be turned on to warm the vehicle during transportation.

When using general vehicles for transportation, straw mats or thermal blankets can be laid around the车厢 and on the floor to ensure that the temperature inside the车厢 is above 0°C. Remember: Transportation is prohibited below -5°C, otherwise insulation measures will be ineffective.

2. Application
1. When the temperature drops to 5°C, it cannot be used outdoors. It should be changed to indoor application. Close doors and windows and take heating measures at the construction site to prevent the performance of white latex adhesive from declining. The recommended application temperature is above 10°C.
2. If the white latex adhesive is found to be frozen during use, do not stir it. Slowly heat and thaw it in an environment of 20-35°C. After thawing, stir evenly. If the condition is good, it can be used normally. White latex adhesive should not be repeatedly thawed, as this will reduce the bonding strength.

3. Storage
In winter, the warehouse temperature should be kept above 0°C, avoiding ventilation and temperature loss. The warehouse can be heated by underfloor heating or by installing heating air conditioners. The indoor temperature should be kept above 5°C. At the same time, windows should be blocked, and thick curtains should be hung at doorways to prevent ventilation and convection. Also, the packaging should be covered with straw mats and insulation to keep warm and prevent freezing.
