The disadvantages of polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesive are poor water resistance and moisture resistance; it easily absorbs moisture. When used in humid air, it can exhibit creep, reducing bonding strength. When stored below -5°C, it is prone to freezing, which destroys the emulsion. This product, using a polymer compound made by the polymerization of polyvinyl alcohol and formaldehyde as a modifier, can significantly improve its water resistance and freeze-thaw resistance, expanding its application range. At room temperature, white latex adhesive cures quickly, has a fast curing speed, high bonding strength, and the adhesive layer has good toughness and durability, and is not prone to aging.

Urea-formaldehyde resin powder can be widely used as an adhesive for paper products (wallpaper), and can also be used as a waterproof coating and wood adhesive. It is used for wood bonding. Therefore, it is widely used in printing binding and furniture manufacturing, as an adhesive for paper, wood, cloth, leather, ceramics, etc. It can also be used as a modifier for phenolic, aldehyde, and other types of adhesives, and for producing polyvinyl acetate latex paint, etc.
